For Kraivid, the offline guide to the regions of Ukraine

Kraivid collects no personal data. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and nothing to buy, the app requests no Android permissions, and it never opens a network connection.
The cards below set out what that means in practice, what the app writes to your own device, and how to reach a person about any of it.
Kraivid is made and published by FERT TOV, a company registered in Ukraine, which releases its apps under the name Oblastlab. Where data protection law refers to a data controller, that company is it — though there is very little to control, because the app gathers nothing.

The whole catalogue — all 24 oblasts, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, their crests, facts and every quiz question — is compiled into the app itself, so nothing has to be downloaded. Alongside it, Kraivid writes a small file into its own private storage to remember how you left it:
None of this identifies you, and none of it is uploaded anywhere. It stays on the phone and nowhere else.
No name, no email address, no phone number, no contacts, no photos, no location, no advertising identifier and no device identifier. There is no analytics library and no crash reporter in the build, so no usage events, session logs or crash traces are gathered or sent. There is no advertising library, so no adverts are shown and no advertising profile is built from your use. There is no billing library, so no payment data exists.
This is not a promise to handle your information carefully. It is simpler: the app never collects it, so there is none to handle.
Kraivid requests no Android runtime permissions at all — not camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage or notifications. It also opens no network connections, to our servers or to anyone else's, and behaves identically in aeroplane mode. Because nothing is sent, nothing can be intercepted; because nothing is received, no behaviour can be switched on remotely after you install it.
The app contains no third-party services. One company is involved anyway, unavoidably: Google, because Kraivid is distributed through Google Play. When you install or update the app, Google processes that under its own privacy policy and its own agreement with you. What reaches us is the aggregated, anonymous figures shown in the developer console — install counts, ratings, country totals — which cannot be traced back to an individual user.
If a future version of Kraivid ever includes anything that touches the network, this page will be rewritten before that version is published, and the change will be described plainly rather than added quietly.
Kraivid is a reference and quiz app suitable for all ages, and is not directed at any particular age group. Because it collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children either, and there is nothing in the app — no adverts, no chat, no sharing, no outbound links — through which a child could send information anywhere.
If you are a parent, guardian or teacher and something appears to behave differently from what is described here, please write to us and we will look into it straight away.
Under Ukraine's Law on Personal Data Protection, and under the GDPR and UK GDPR where they apply to you, you have rights to learn whether your personal data is processed, to obtain a copy, to have it corrected or erased, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Those rights need data to act on, and Kraivid holds none, so there is nothing for us to send, correct or delete on your behalf. If you would like that confirmed in writing for your own records, ask and we will send it.
The local file is entirely under your control. Clearing the app's data in Android settings resets favourites and quiz progress immediately, and uninstalling Kraivid removes that file along with the app. Neither action needs our involvement, and neither leaves a copy behind, because no copy was ever made.
This page is updated only when the app changes in a way that affects privacy, and the date at the top changes with it. Builds you have already installed keep behaving exactly as they do today.
